DESCRIPTION:Resilient Recipies – Join us in the kitchen for a hands-on class tailored for cancer survivors and support persons\, where our chef and dietitian will demonstrate a nourishing recipe designed to support recovery and overall well-being. Connect with others who understand your journey as we share nutrition and wellness tips and enjoy a supportive community atmosphere. \nIn this “Sweet Potato Lentil Burgers” class we will go meatless Monday but on Wednesday! Subbing in veggies for meat one day a week is a simple way to increase your intake of plant-based foods\, which can support overall well-being and reduce your risk of cancer recurrence. In this hands-on class\, you’ll learn how to create a delicious\, protein-rich meal using only plant-based ingredients. \nWhether you’re new to plant-based cooking\, looking for fresh meal ideas\, or not sure how to get more veggies in\, this class will provide you with an approachable recipe and technique that you can easily recreate at home. \nSpecial instructions \n\nParticipants will be provided with all ingredients and appliances needed to prepare and cook a delicious\, complete meal.\nAt the end of the class\, all participants will enjoy their meal together and leave with a copy of the recipe to recreate at home.\nRecipes subject to accommodate seasonal availability and freshness.\nPlease arrive on time to ensure the full experience.\n\nNote on allergens: \n\nWhile we make every effort to identify ingredients and avoid cross-contact\, our kitchen is not allergen-free.
