Make your weeknights or lunches easier and more delicious with this Single Serving class! You’ll learn how to make meals for each weekday using just five versatile ingredients: corn, carrots, chicken, rice, and black beans. We’ll show you how some smart shopping strategies and easy prep techniques can have you mixing and matching a week of different meals for one.

Single Serving is perfect for the solo cook or meal prep enthusiast. You’ll leave with practical ideas to make solo meals that don’t have a ton of food waste, don’t cost a lot of money, and don’t require eating the same thing every day!

In Cooking with Confidence, you’ll learn essential skills, discover recipes to recreate at home, and connect with your community through cooking. We’ll cover techniques like knife safety and choosing produce as well as skills like poaching, sauteing, and grilling. This class is led by a chef and dietitian, and emphasizes fresh ingredients, collaborative preparation, and a menu that prioritizes enjoyment, practicality, and health benefits. All skill levels welcome!

Good to know: Participants will be provided with all ingredients and appliances needed to prepare and cook a delicious, complete meal. At the end of the class, all participants will enjoy their meal together and leave with a copy of the recipe to recreate at home. Allergens are listed under each class description, please email us if you have any dietary restrictions. Recipes subject to accommodate seasonal availability and freshness.

Prepare for your class: Wear closed-toed shoes (nonslip preferred) and tie up long hair for safety.
