Whisking up Wellness is a class where you learn healthy eating tips to related to metabolic health and designed to assist with weight management. These classes are modeled off the Culinary Medicine Program at Stanford University and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and are designed to present healthy food choices as delicious, fast, and inexpensive. This class will focus on nutrient dense but lower calorie foods designed to keep you full and satisfied while supporting long-term weight management and chronic disease risk reduction.
In our “Egg Roll in a Bowl” class you’ll learn how to make a healthier version of a takeout favorite: the egg roll! This flavorful dish has all the delicious taste of a traditional egg roll without the frying, making it a simple and satisfying option for busy weeknights or meal prep.
We’ll prepare an easy, budget-friendly recipe using minimal prep and accessible ingredients. You’ll also learn why this recipe has become a favorite for meal prepping as it’s quick to make, versatile, and tastes great as leftovers.
In this class, you’ll gain practical cooking tips and simple techniques for creating healthier homemade versions of familiar favorites.

- Participants will be provided with all ingredients and appliances needed to prepare and cook a delicious, complete meal.
- At the end of the class, all participants will enjoy their meal together and leave with a copy of the recipe to recreate at home.
